A Fulbright Brasil e Rice University anunciam um prêmio para um acadêmico brasileiro passar um semestre acadêmico lecionando e pesquisando no outono de 2022 (setembro a dezembro de 2022) ou semestre da primavera de 2023 (janeiro a maio de 2023). O Prêmio tem como objetivo fomentar o ensino e a pesquisa na área das Biociências.

“Fulbright Brazil and Rice University announce: Distinguished Award in the Biosciences at Rice University, Houston, Texas (RICE) will give one award for a Brazilian scholar to spend one academic semester lecturing and researching in the fall term 2022 (September to December 2022) or spring term 2023 (January to May 2023), following RICE academic year calendar.
The Award is intended to foster teaching and research in the area of the Biosciences. Candidates for the Award shall submit a detailed proposal for lecturing and/or research related to a field of study to be carried out during the fall 2022 semester or the spring 2023 semester. The ideal candidate has interdisciplinary research interests and course proposal that Intersect with different fields, including Biochemistry & Cell Biology (BCB), Ecology & Evolutionary Biology (EEB), and Systems, Synthetic & Physical Biology (SSPB).
Lecturing proposals should include a detailed syllabus for a three-hours weekly graduate seminar or advanced undergraduate course as conceived within one of the disciplines taught at RICE. Research proposals should include a detailed research plan, including timeline, expected resource needs, proposed research site or laboratory, and proposed RICE affiliation.
